Shuangshuang Chinese Course Book series are especially compiled for oversea students to study Chinese, by Shuangshuang Wang, an experienced teacher in US California, cooperating with Chinese experts and scholars. The series have 20 volumes, introducing 2,500 Chinese characters, covering basic knowledge of strokes, phonetics, drills and short passages as well as systematic knowledge of Chinese culture including Chinese geography, history and philosophy. The textbooks feature wide range of knowledge, interesting topics and a step-by-step teaching and learning experience. CD-ROMs are available.
    
The students can start learning from the very beginning, until they finish the whole 20 volumes; or they can also choose the 5th volume and the last 11 volumes (the l0th~ 20th volume) to use separately, so that it is convenient for high schools or colleges to offer special courses on Chinese philosophy, geography, history and so on, or for Vocational Class, Short-term Chinese Culture Class, Speeded-up Phonetics Class. The curriculum of this series meets the objectives and demands of AP Chinese Course as well.
