A Practical Chinese Grammar for Foreigners is a Chinese-English bilingual primer of modem Chinese grammar. In compiling this work, the authors have drawn upon their thirty years of experience in both teaching and compilation of language materials.
Fundamental grammar rules are explained theoretically in a concise and comprehensible way. Numerous sample sentences and tables are provided to highlight classification and features in the function of words and phrases. Exercises in an array of forms and a key provided at the end of the book facilitate independent study.
