Consists of 4 volumes. Each volume has 16 lessons, 14 for texts and 2 for exercises.
Every lesson includes 20 ~ 35 new characters, so altogether there are 1598 new characters. Every passage is about 300 ~ 700 words, covering various field including Chinese history, geography, culture, custom, living habits, etc.
The wholes series is closely linked with the HSK tests. 8 Units of Tests are in form of HSK Mock Test.
